We suggest looking online, in the magazine, or family/friends’ homes to get ideas on what you like or dislike. Collecting photos ideas, color schemes, or other design elements of what you love and even hate is a great way to get familiar with your own design style. We suggest bringing in any photos or color schemes that will help you communicate your needs and wants to us. For example, if you are remodeling your kitchen, you could show us your kitchen ideas by sharing your Houzz Ideabook on kitchen countertops, bringing in a magazine cut out of a faucet you like, or having a list of the colors you used in your dining room.
